Grass-MISCANTHUS s. Gracillimus

Narrow green foliage has a silver midrib down the center of each blade. Plants form tall vase-shaped clumps from which coppery-bronze colored seed heads bloom in fall. The seed heads mature to a nice silver color and persist well into winter. Plants are adaptable to many conditions, but grow best in moist but well-drained soil. Plants are intolerant of wet winter soil and should be given ample space to grow! Cut back plants in early spring.
