HOSTA Great Expectations

HOSTA Great Expectations HOSTA Great Expectations

Wide and irregular blue-green margins surround a dynamic leaf center! In spring, the center of the leaves emerge chartreuse, then ages to yellow, then creamy-yellow, and ultimately almost white. Foliage is very puckered and quite thick, making it slug resistant. Masses of white flowers bloom above the foliage in midsummer. A very slow grower, but once established puts on a foliage show like nothing else! Hostas adapt well to varying conditions but grow best in moist soil. Their foliage provides wonderful color and texture to the garden! Mature plant size is 20" tall by 40" wide, flowers to 24".
