HOSTA Sum & Substance

A very large Hosta with a strong growth habit. Large chartreuse leaves can grow up to 16" large and form huge mounds in the garden. The leaves have a thick substance and exhibit good slug resistance. Pale lavender blooms appear in mid to late summer. The foliage is a brighter gold if placed in more sunlight. Hostas adapt well to varying conditions but grow best in moist soil. Their foliage provides wonderful color and texture to the garden! Mature plant size is 36" tall by 70" wide, flowers to 48". Voted the 2004 Hosta of the Year by the American Hosta Growers Association.
