A relative of oregano, the flavor of Zaatar marjoram has hints of oregano as well as thyme. Gray-green leaves can be used anywhere there is a call for fresh herbs, including dips, and tomato dishes. Small white flowers bloom in summer. Plants perform best in full sun and well-drained soil.
