RUDBECKIA f. Goldsturm

Goldsturm is a widely used cultivar of our southeastern U.S. native Rudbeckia fulgida. The golden, daisy-like flowers are 3-4" wide and have a brown central cone. The flowers last for months in the summer and contrast well with the dark green foliage. Deadheading old blooms will encourage continual flower production. Plants perform admirably in a full sun site with rich, well-worked soil. This wonderful long blooming perennial was voted the 1999 Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association.
