Light green, scalloped leaves provide the backdrop for a lovely show of 5-petaled, star-shaped, yellow flowers hat bloom late in the summer. After the fragrant flowers are finished blooming, the foliage turns a pinkish orange color that can brighten up any spot in the border or rock garden. This compact grower performs best in well-drained soil of average to low fertility.
