Rosettes of green-blue leaves fade to rose in the center. The plants provide a nice texture to the garden. Though plants rarely bloom, you may see pink blooms with a rose center in the summertime. Rosettes die after flowering. Hens and chicks are one of the easiest perennials to grow as they are tolerant of heat and drought. Great for rock gardens, troughs, and walls. Evergreen.
