Fire Chief™ has unique changes of color throughout different seasons beginning in spring with bright yellow foliage that is tinged with deep red. New growth is consistently tinged deep red and in the onset of cooler fall temperatures the foliage turns an amazing deep red. Plants are somewhat slow growing and can be used as hedges or in foundation plantings. Prefers well-drained soil and sun to part shade.
