Very large rose-colored flowers have a carmine-red bar down the center of each petal. Blooms in early-season, often reblooming in fall. Prune down to swollen buds in early spring as early flowers bloom on the previous season's growth and late summer flowers appear on new growth. Clematis grow best when the shoots receive full sun and the roots remain shaded and cool. A strong grower that will grow 6-10' tall.
