Grass-ANDROPOGON ger. Blackhawks PP27949

As new foliage emerges, it is a deep-green to dark-purple color which deepens to almost black by fall. Burgundy-red inflorescences emerge mid to late summer. Tolerates a range of soil but prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Deer resistant.
