Grass-PENNISETUM s. Rubrum

Gorgeous, deep, purple-red foliage on upright plants gives way to arching, reddish-bronze, bottle-brush flower plumes in summer. Often used as a vertical accent and filler in patio containers as it adds height and a splash of color to any size pot. The color lasts well into early winter. Plants grow best in well-drained soil and should be treated as an annual.
