SEMPERVIVUM Black

Larger rosettes of succulent green leaves are tipped in deep purple giving the plants an overall dark appearance. Great to pair with other sedums and rock garden plants. In summer the older rosettes send out thick erect stems bristling with scaly leaves and topped with clusters of white blooms. Rosettes die after flowering. Hens and chicks are one of the easiest perennials to grow as they are tolerant of heat and drought. Great for rock gardens, troughs, and walls. Evergreen.
